Osaic Adds Two FA Teams with $500M in Assets
Osaic, a wealth management solutions business and portfolio company of private investment firm Reverence Capital Partners, has recruited two financial advisory teams managing nearly $500 million.
The Meckenstock Group and 10 financial advisors are joining Osaic’s The AmeriFlex Group. The Kansas-based firm, run by President & CEO, Bobb Meckenstock, was formerly affiliated with Independent Financial Group and brings more than $290 million in client assets to Osaic.
The team includes registered representatives Dan Meckenstock, Keith Harper and Kenny Rigler, based in the Hays headquarters, as well as Cameron Kaufman, Reggie Johnson and Kakim Kunantaev, who are joining from Kansas; Brian Kozak, from Nebraska; and John Reeve and Rodney Smith, from California.
The Meckenstock Group offers life insurance, health plans, pension programs, mutual funds and annuity services.
Also joining Osaic through AmeriFlex are Jeffrey McNaney and Lucas Dancy-Cabeal. Formerly with Principal Securities, and located in Tennessee and California, the team manages $206 million in client assets.
McNaney and Dancy-Cabeal specialize in financial and insurance services with expertise in retirement planning, active investment management and tax efficient strategies for business owners and high-income professionals.
“Changing firms is never an easy decision, but after meeting with Osaic and The AmeriFlex Group®, seeing their vision for the future and the extraordinary service and support they provide advisors and clients, we knew we found our new home,” said Bobb Meckenstock.
Osaic has also recently made changes in an attempt to retain and attract more advisors. Following its rebranding from Advisor Group in June, Osaic stated last month that it would be lowering advisor fees and launching a new advisor site.
