Oakland Capital Partners Launches Advisory Platform
Oakland Capital Partners (OCP) has announced the launch of Oakland Capital Solutions (OCS), a new platform designed to deliver financial and strategic advisory services to external clients. The platform will offer expertise in asset management, capital markets, and transaction structuring, while also advising on corporate strategy, growth initiatives, and regulatory issues tied to the energy transition.
Leadership appointments include Darren Van’t Hof as principal and David DeHorn as president. Van’t Hof, a longtime leader in renewable energy finance, previously built U.S. Bank’s tax equity and project finance platform into one of the largest in the nation and currently serves as Chairman of the Solar Energy Industries Association. DeHorn brings nearly two decades of Wall Street experience at Lehman Brothers and Barclays, where he specialized in credit structuring, trading, and risk management, before moving into strategy leadership at DOMA.
“Since 2016, OCP has helped middle-market companies launch and scale by providing strategic support and capital,” said Peter Benoist, founding partner and managing principal of OCP. “The launch of OCS represents a natural extension of OCP’s efforts and is intended to service market demand which is beyond our capabilities.”
OCS is the dedicated financing and advisory arm of OCP.
