Moss Adams Wealth Unit Spins Out as Threadline Wealth
Moss Adams Wealth Advisors has officially transitioned to an independent firm, rebranding as Threadline Wealth following Moss Adams’ merger with Baker Tilly in June 2025. The move positions the firm as a standalone registered investment advisor while maintaining a strategic relationship with the global advisory platform.
“Threadline Wealth reflects our vision for how we’ll serve wealthy clients as their needs, goals, and expectations continue to evolve,” said Justin Fisher, Co-Founder and CEO of Threadline Wealth.
The newly independent firm will retain its existing leadership team, advisors and client relationships, while expanding its capabilities through a growth investment from Cynosure, a strategic partner focused on scaling advisory businesses.
Fisher emphasized that the rebrand is centered on delivering greater clarity and alignment for clients navigating increasingly complex financial decisions. “Clients aren’t looking for more opinions, they’re looking for clarity,” he said. “Threadline Wealth is designed to bring family members, business stakeholders, and professional advisors onto the same page.”
Threadline Wealth plans to build a scaled regional boutique, investing in enhanced planning capabilities, technology and specialized services, while maintaining a high-touch, relationship-driven model.
Threadline Wealth engaged Advisor Growth Strategies as its financial advisor and Alston & Bird LLP as its legal counsel in connection with the transaction.
