Morgan Stanley Investment Management is rolling out educational offerings targeted towards financial advisors, with a focus on two areas within the asset management space. 

The centers, dubbed the Tax Forward Investing Center and the Alternatives Investing Center, will include various online courses for advisors that focus on two investment management areas key to investors. 

Morgan Stanley’s latest educational-focused initiative comes as the firm is seeking to put a strong emphasis on promoting continuous learning to “better position advisors to enhance client outcomes and provide meaningful investment guidance,” the firm said. 

The Tax Forward Investing Center provides courses related to investment and tax management, as well as other services to assist advisors in identifying their clients’ tailored tax situations and maximizing after-tax outcomes across their portfolios. 

The launch of the center follows Morgan Stanley Investment Management’s rollout of its Tax Optimized Portfolio Solutions, which is an advisor tool that’s designed to unify and enhance the tax management capabilities of Morgan Stanley’s investment management division, Eaton Vance, and Parametric Portfolio Associates.
