Moody’s Analytics Learning Solutions and CSI to be Acquired by Fitch Learning 

Fitch Learning, an educational consultancy division of FitchSolutions, will acquire Moody’s Analytics Learning Solutions and the Canadian Securities Institute. 

The acquisition will amplify Fitch Learning’s capabilities in credit training and various certifications by providing a broader lineup of career development and financial services-focused certifications. This acquisition will increase services across commercial banking, consumer banking, and investment management. 

“This agreement reinforces our commitment to meeting a growing demand for upskilling and continued professional development in the financial services sector,” Andreas Karaiskos, CEO of Fitch Learning, said. “As organizations increasingly invest in learning and development to boost employee retention and staff capabilities, our solutions will help empower their teams, and ultimately drive organizational growth.” 

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. However, the acquisition is set to close in the fourth quarter of this year, following customary closing conditions, including regulatory approvals.
