Middle-Market PE Firm Dextra Partners Forms with $2.5B from Strategic Partners
Dextra Partners, a new independent, multi-strategy investment firm focused on middle market private equity opportunities, has launched with $2.5bn from a select group of strategic partners.
The New York-based firm’s six founding partners, who are former executives at private equity firm GoldPoint Partners, own a controlling interest in the investment house.
The team has well over a century of combined investment experience across primary fund commitments, secondaries, private debt, structured capital, equity-co-investment, and general partner seeding and staking.
Dextra’s founding partners are Quint Barker, Thomas Haubenstricker, Scott Iorio, Michael Kho, Binayak Mishra and Vijay Palkar. Barker was GoldPoint’s chief investment officer, while Haubenstricker was chief executive and Palkar was head of its investment team.
Gibson Dunn & Crutcher LLP served as legal advisor to Dextra. Atlantic-Pacific Capital and Campbell Lutyens & Co Inc served as financial advisors.
