Merit Adds $208M Bucks County Wealth Manager

Merit Financial Advisors has acquired GlennCo, LLC, a Newtown, Pennsylvania-based wealth management firm overseeing approximately $208 million in total assets, deepening Merit’s presence in Bucks County and marking its seventh office in the state.

GlennCo owner and wealth manager Glenn Cohen will join Merit along with his entire team. The firm brings a two-decade track record of comprehensive planning services, including tax planning, retirement strategies, estate planning, risk management and business financial services.

“GlennCo has built a thriving practice over the last 20 years,” said Ryan Evans, regional director and partner at Merit. “Their growth, commitment to objective planning, and client-first approach make them an excellent fit for Merit as we expand our presence in the Newtown area.”

The transaction was sourced by Evans and Nick Wilkins, who joined Merit through its November acquisition of Blueprint Wealth Advisors. GlennCo transitions from Commonwealth, marking Merit’s fourth acquisition from the broker-dealer. Other Commonwealth acquisitions include TL Financial Group, Blueprint Wealth Advisors, and Global Wealth Advisors.

The deal, finalized February 6, 2026, represents Merit’s 55th acquisition. Based in Atlanta, Merit operates more than 55 offices nationwide and managed $24.69 billion in assets as of January 1, 2026, spanning advisory, brokerage, retirement and ESOP services. Financial terms were not disclosed.
