Mercer Advisors Tap 2 for Leadership Roles
Mercer Global Advisors has appointed two industry veterans to senior leadership roles.
Abby Salameh and Chris Walters will serve as managing partners overseeing key growth markets, according to the registered investment advisory firm.
Salameh will lead the New Jersey and Philadelphia markets, while Walters will oversee the San Diego market.
Before joining Mercer, Salameh served as chief growth officer at RFG Advisory and held C-suite roles at Hightower Advisors, CAIS, Private Advisor Group, and TD Ameritrade, according to her LinkedIn profile.
“This is an incredible opportunity to build and lead at a preeminent fiduciary firm in a community that I care so much about, and to do it as part of a deeply collaborative leadership team,” Salameh said. “The company’s incredible advisory teams in New Jersey and Philadelphia are already helping many thousands of families achieve economic freedom, and I am excited to support them in growing our impact.”
Walters most recently served as chief advisory officer at RIA Savant Wealth Management, where he was responsible for leading and executing the firm’s expansion.
Walters, who brings over 30 years of wealth management experience to Mercer, is also the founder of Laguna Hills, CA-based Lighthouse Wealth Advisory Group, a consulting practice that focuses on advising wealth management firms and private equity sponsors on growth and integration.
“Joining Mercer Advisors in this role is an opportunity to join an incredible team in San Diego, accelerate our local impact and deliver institutional-grade capabilities to our community,” Walters said. “The team in San Diego has already established a tremendous local reputation for client excellence and dynamic growth, and I look forward to furthering our impact on local families.”
Denver-based Mercer Global Advisors is backed by a collective group of private equity firms, including Oak Hill Capital, Genstar Capital, and Altas Partners. The firm manages about $90 billion in total assets and operates across more than 100 locations.
