Magnetar Capital Partners with White Hat Capital to Launch Structured Opportunities Fund
Magnetar Capital is partnering with technology investor White Hat Capital Partners to form the White Hat Structured Opportunities LP fund (WHSO), which offers financing solutions to public technology companies with market values of up to $5 billion.
The fund will provide structured investments of $50 million to $200 million in tech firms operating in high value markets.
“In light of tightening financial conditions and a challenging operating environment, we felt the timing was right to establish a fund dedicated to providing significant, customized financing solutions to enhance our hands-on approach to value creation,” said White Hat Managing Partners Dave Chanley and Mark Quinlan.
White Hat focuses on concentrated, value-oriented investments in publicly-traded technology companies.
Magnetar Capital is a multi-strategy alternative investment manager with approximately $13.2 billion of assets under management as of June 30, 2022.
