Macquarie Asset Management Tops $1.6B in U.S. CLO Pricing
Macquarie Asset Management has priced its third U.S. collateralized loan obligation, Market Street CLO III, raising $409 million and pushing total U.S. CLO issuance on the platform past $1.6 billion in 18 months. The transaction attracted 10 new investors to the platform, extending the firm’s growing presence in the structured credit market since it launched its inaugural U.S. CLO issuances in 2025.
Market Street III arrives alongside Macquarie’s acquisition of Spire Management Limited in Europe, a move the firm says positions it to compete across global CLO markets and broaden the range of structured credit offerings available to institutional clients. The combined U.S. and European capabilities are expected to strengthen Macquarie’s standing as a full-cycle CLO manager on both sides of the Atlantic.
“Market Street III is the latest example of Macquarie Asset Management’s scale and expertise in managing complex credit products like CLOs and our commitment to delivering value for clients,” Vivek Bommi, head of leveraged credit, Macquarie Asset Management.
Macquarie Asset Management’s Credit and Insurance division manages $162 billion in assets through an integrated global platform spanning private credit, liquid credit, and insurance, supported by approximately 150 investment professionals.
