LPL Financial Recruits $380M Wells Fargo FA

LPL Financial has added a financial advisor who manages $380 million in advisory, brokerage, and retirement plan assets from Wells Fargo Advisors.

Advisor David Logsdon has joined LPL’s broker-dealer and registered investment advisor platform to launch Sun Valley, ID-based Summit Ridge Financial Advisors, alongside client associate Cecilia Moran.

The firm provides wealth management services, including estate and financial planning, to high-net-worth clients across more than a dozen states, according to LPL.

Logsdon made the transition to LPL because of its “robust technology, expanded resources and commitment to independence.”

“I’ve always believed that effective wealth management starts with gaining a full understanding of a client’s financial picture and translating that into strategies that align with their goals,” Logsdon said.

Logsdon had been registered with Wells Fargo since starting in the industry in 2000, according to his BrokerCheck profile.

LPL serves over 32,000 advisors, including advisors at approximately 1,100 institutions, and custodies roughly $2.3 trillion in brokerage and advisory assets.
