LPL Financial Adds Miami Advisor with $155M Book 

LPL Financial LLC announced that advisor Ashton Medina has joined its broker-dealer and corporate RIA platforms, aligning with affiliated firm GradePoint Financial Group. He reported having served approximately $155 million in advisory, brokerage and retirement plan assets and joins from Synovus Securities. 

Based in Miami, Medina focuses on multigenerational wealth and estate planning, as well as helping clients understand the “complexities of their financial lives,” according to LPL. 

Medina said he was looking for independence and the autonomy to run his business “on his own terms.” 

“I really appreciate LPL’s comprehensive digital platform with single sign-on where I can access everything in one place,” said Medina. “This will allow me to expand my service offering and create more positive experiences for clients.” 

Last week, the San Diego-based firm announced it added a trio of ex-Merrill Lynch advisors managing $685 million to its independence model, Strategic Wealth Services.
