LPL Adds $830M Connecticut Foursome from Janney
LPL Financial LLC announced that advisors Logan Reed, James “Jim” English III, Michael Allegra Jr., and Matthew Fleming, have launched a new independent practice, Thimble Island Private Wealth, through affiliation with LPL Financial’s independence model, LPL Strategic Wealth Services.
The team reported having served approximately $830 million in advisory, brokerage and retirement plan assets while at Janney Montgomery Scott, according to LPL.
Based in New Haven, CT, the foursome moved to LPL in a bid “to elevate their client-centric practice,” and they chose to do so through the 1099 model because it offers “the freedom and flexibility of entrepreneurship with hands-on business services and support.”
“LPL’s open architecture platform, robust resources and dedication to independence are in perfect harmony with our values and goals. We believe this move will allow us to provide an even more comprehensive and personalized financial planning experience for our clients,” said Reed.
Reed has been in the financial services business since 2007 and had been with Janney since 2013, according to BrokerCheck. English started his career in 1977 and joined Janney in 2022. Allegra’s career began in 2022 with Janney. Fleming entered the business in 2006 and joined Janney last year.
The team is the 45th to affiliate with Strategic Wealth Services, which LPL launched in 2020
