Lincoln Financial, Bain Capital Debut Evergreen Private Credit Fund

Lincoln Financial has launched the Lincoln Bain Capital Total Credit Fund, an evergreen private markets vehicle developed in partnership with Bain Capital. The fund will provide investors with diversified exposure to global private credit opportunities, including loans to mid-sized private companies, asset-based finance, structured credit, and opportunistic investments.

“Partnering with Lincoln is a significant milestone for our global credit platform, enabling us to leverage the dynamic and diversified approach of our multi-asset credit strategies with Lincoln’s extensive network of individual investors and intermediaries,” said John Wright, partner and global head of credit at Bain Capital.

The fund marks the first product from the strategic partnership announced in March 2025 and will be distributed through Lincoln Financial Distributors, which provides insurance and retirement solutions and has $331 billion in account balances net of reinsurance, with education initiatives planned for individual investors and financial professionals.
