Kingsview Partners Lands Investment from FTV Capital
Registered investment advisory firm Kingsview Partners has sold an undisclosed stake to growth equity firm FTV Capital.
The investment will bolster the RIA’s advisor development initiatives, broaden its technology and operations, and fund Kingsview’s product and service offerings, including financial planning, investment management, and insurance.
The transaction was led by FTV Capital’s growth equity investors Kyle Griswold, Mike Vostrizansky, and Brandon Spierto.
Following the transaction, which is expected to close in the fourth quarter of this year, the three investors will join Kingsview’s board of directors, and Kingsview’s leadership team will continue to lead the firm and retain significant ownership, Kingsview stated.
As part of the deal, Kingsview will gain access to FTV’s Global Partner Network and the firm’s in-house team of financial professionals to support product rollout, go-to-market, and scaling.
“The combination of growth capital and deep domain expertise in our industry is exactly what we were looking for in a partner to help us provide the best experience possible for Kingsview advisors and clients alike,” said Josh Lewis, founder and CEO of Kingsview Partners.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Oregon-based Kingsview Partners manages more than $10 billion in assets under management, supporting over 100 advisors across 70 offices.
