Jump Teams with Markel to Roll Out AI Capabilities
Jump, an AI-powered wealth tech platform, has partnered with Markel, an insurance solutions provider, to expand its services across Markel’s platform and to bolster its reach to advisory firms.
Through the collaboration, which is open to eligible advisory firms, will gain access to educational tools, resources, and risk-management support through Joseph Caruso & Associates, an insurance brokerage firm.
Additionally, the partnership will allow firms that have chosen Jump to gain access to Errors & Omissions insurance solutions.
“Advisors are rapidly integrating AI into their businesses, and their infrastructure needs to evolve alongside that shift,” Parker Ence, CEO and co-founder, said. “What we’re seeing now is a fundamental shift in how risk is managed in the age of AI. Rather than treating these tools as a new source of exposure, firms are beginning to integrate them into a more modern risk framework—one that aligns technology, operations and insurance.”
Over recent months, various firms have pulled similar moves to broaden their insurance offerings as financial advisors continue pushing for expanded resources for their businesses and clients.
For example, iCapital acquired Hexure, an AI-powered insurance provider, in a move that expands the firm’s annuity and insurance options for financial advisors, and Cetera Financial Institutions, a division of Cetera Investment Services, has partnered with the Bank of Hawai’i to provide broker-dealer services for its investment and insurance arm, Bankoh Investment Services.
While insurance solutions are gaining momentum as an alternative for wealth planning, clients remain closely aligned with traditional financial planning allocations for their wealth transfer.
According to a 2025 study published by Cerulli Associates, about 67% of advisors offer insurance planning solutions to clients, but only 17% of clients utilize the service.
Earlier this month, Jump also partnered with Perennial Financial Services, a registered investment advisory platform. As part of the collaboration, Perennial has integrated Jump’s ‘Operate’ solution firmwide, to include AI intake forms, document intelligence, and pre-meeting preparation capabilities.
