Invesco Unifies $2.5T Platform to Launch Global Custom Strategies Unit
Invesco has consolidated its customized investment capabilities into a single global platform as wealth managers and institutional investors increasingly seek portfolios combining tax management, public securities and private assets.
Invesco Solutions & Custom Strategies brings together the firm’s active, passive and multi-asset businesses with model portfolios, separately managed accounts, tax-advantaged strategies and bespoke institutional mandates. The open-architecture platform will serve clients across wealth and institutional channels, according to Invesco.
“By uniting our existing customization capabilities into a single, globally coordinated offering, we are better positioned to partner with clients on increasingly sophisticated portfolio needs,” said Stephanie Butcher, Invesco’s co-head of Investments.
Clint Harris was appointed to the newly created position of global head of Solutions & Custom Strategies. He will report to Butcher and coordinate portfolio construction, technology and client engagement across regions.
Darby Nielson joined Invesco as chief investment officer of Multi-Asset Solutions, reporting to Harris. Nielson previously served as chief investment officer at Fidelity Investments and brings more than 20 years of investment strategy and quantitative research experience.
Invesco managed $2.5 trillion as of June 30 and served clients in more than 120 countries. Its private market businesses include real estate, private credit, and commodities.
The firm has also expanded its real estate lending platform. Invesco Commercial Real Estate Finance Trust closed a $1.2 billion managed CRE collateralized loan obligation in June, its second such issuance since May 2025. Invesco Real Estate originated $3.2 billion of loans during the first half of 2026.
