Homrich Berg Hires Former JP Morgan VP to Bolster Family Office Division
Fee-only based independent wealth manager Homrich Berg has boosted its family office business with the addition of former JP Morgan Private Bank vice president Lauren Vick Burthey as a Director.
Burthey reports to Emily Bentley, a principal at Homrich Berg.
Burthey joins the $13 billion Atlanta-based firm to lead initiatives focused on entrepreneurs from underrepresented communities and females in wealth and will help expand the services for family office clients, according to the firm.
“We’re energized by the new perspective she brings to the firm and look forward to seeing her elevate the Homrich Berg brand while becoming a trusted resource for our clients,” said Thomas Carroll, president of Homrich Berg.
Prior to JP Morgan, Burthey spent time at McKinsey & Co., where she managed the recruitment of advanced professional degree and MBA candidates.
Founded in 1989, Homrich Berg oversees more than $12.5 billion in assets. The RIA is backed by private equity firm New Mountain Capital.
