
Hightower Invests in Lindbrook Capital, Expanding Wealth Management Reach
Hightower Advisors, a Chicago-based wealth management firm, announced its first strategic investment of 2025, acquiring a stake in Lindbrook Capital, LLC, a financial planning and wealth management practice with approximately $3.8 billion in assets under management.
Led by managing partners Benjamin Posen and Tyler Dritz, alongside partner Lee Samson, Lindbrook’s 10-person team delivers tailored investment management and financial planning services to affluent families, individuals, foundations, and endowments, including prominent business and entertainment executives. The firm operates offices in Los Angeles, Calabasas, California, and New York City.

Hightower now supports over 140 advisory businesses across 35 states and Washington, D.C., offering investment, financial, and retirement planning services to individuals, foundations, and family offices, as well as 401(k) consulting and cash management for corporations. As of December 31, 2024, Hightower and its affiliates managed approximately $168 billion in assets.
Hightower’s last investment was in December 2024, acquiring a stake in Dechtman Wealth Management, a Denver-based financial planning firm with $800 million in assets.
Lindbrook was advised by Colchester Partners LLC and Kirkland & Ellis, LLP, while McDermott, Will & Emery LLP provided legal counsel to Hightower.
