Healthcare-Focused Amulet Capital Partners Acquires Eruptr

Amulet Capital Partners, a private equity firm focused solely on the healthcare sector, has purchased Bradenton, FL-based healthcare digital marketing firm Eruptr. Athyrium Capital Management, an asset management company focused on opportunities in the global healthcare sector, is also investing in the company.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Founded in 2009 by J.K. Lloyd, Eruptr offers a suite of digital solutions for hospitals ranging from search engine marketing to health risk assessments. The company said it serves more than 200 “blue-chip” hospitals and health systems across the country.

Greenwich, CT-based Amulet typically invests between $25 million and $150 million in healthcare companies within segments that include life sciences outsourcing, payors and payor services, and providers and outsourced services.

McDermott Will & Emery LLP served as legal advisor to Amulet, while Canaccord Genuity LLC served as financial advisor and the law firm of Sidley Austin, LLC served as legal advisor to Eruptr LLC shareholders.
