GTCR to Acquire FMG Suite from Aurora Capital

Private equity giant GTCR has announced an agreement to acquire FMG Suite, a leading digital marketing and client engagement platform serving financial advisors and insurance professionals, from Aurora Capital Partners. The transaction underscores GTCR’s continued push into technology-enabled solutions for the wealth management and insurance industries, with the deal expected to close in the third quarter of 2025.

Founded in 2011, San Diego-based FMG offers a comprehensive platform featuring a robust content library, integrated compliance workflows, and digital tools tailored to support client communications, branding, and organic growth. The company currently supports more than 50,000 financial professionals and 3,500 property and casualty insurance agencies through its Agency Revolution brand, positioning it as a critical software partner to the independent advisory and insurance channels.

“Scott and his team have built an exceptional business that is uniquely positioned to serve advisors and insurance professionals’ growing need for innovative and impactful tools to drive increased organic growth,” said Michael Hollander, Managing Director at GTCR.

The acquisition aligns with GTCR’s long-standing investment strategy in financial services and marketing technology, complementing its portfolio of firms such as AssetMark, AssuredPartners, CAPTRUST, Foundation Source, Simpli.fi, and Winged Keel.

FMG’s blend of SaaS infrastructure and specialized compliance-centric content positions it well for continued expansion, particularly as independent advisors demand more scalable and compliant digital marketing solutions.

Lincoln International LLC and William Blair served as financial advisors and Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP served as legal counsel to FMG. Ardea Partners LP, Baird and Harris Williams served as financial advisors and Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP served as legal counsel to GTCR.
