Granite Creek Invests in Corporate Comms Provider Salem One

Private equity firm Granite Creek Capital Partners LLC made an investment in Salem One, a corporate communication solutions provider, including direct marketing, packaging and logistics services.

Chicago-based Granite Creek partnered with Phil Kelley, Jr., CEO and President of Salem One, and Scott Mahoney, a long-time shareholder and previous Chairman of the company. Patriot Capital co-invested alongside Granite Creek and management.

Granite Creek Partner Brian Boorstein and Director Jordan Liss joined North Carolina-based Salem One’s Board of Directors.

“Through its broad communication, data, and technology capabilities, Salem One has cultivated long-standing relationships with its customers as their strategic corporate communications partner,” said Liss.

In May, Granite Creek made an investment in Pinstripes, Inc., an operator of dining and entertainment venues combining bowling, bocce, and Italian-American cuisine.
