Goodman, Windrose Partner to Develop EV Infrastructure
Goodman Group, a multinational commercial and industrial real estate firm, has teamed up with Windrose Technology to create an innovative electric vehicle (EV) fast-charging infrastructure for heavy-duty trucks.
The alliance seeks to minimize greenhouse gas emissions and operational costs while also increasing service quality for fleet operators and logistics partners.
Both Goodman and Windrose will collaborate to build fast-charging hubs at Goodman facilities, beginning in China and extending into other global markets.
Windrose, a heavy-duty electric vehicle developer, is preparing to introduce next-generation, zero-emission, and intelligent trucks built for consumer products transportation as well as improving global commerce and logistics.
Windrose’s first truck model has a driving range of 600 kilometers and weights 49 tons. It has a high-voltage fast-charging mechanism of 800V. Windrose intends to begin operations in China in 2024, followed by the United States, Europe, and Australia.
“Goodman’s commitment to developing high-quality sustainable properties, in key strategic markets globally, will help us accelerate our roadmap in decarbonizing our customers’ supply chains,” said Wen Han, Founder, Chairman and CEO of Windrose Technology.
The partnership aligns Goodman with notable investors such as Fountainvest Partners and Yunqi Partners, as well as executives from Coca-Cola and Starbucks.
