Former Morgan Stanley Advisory Team with $170M in Assets Takes “Journey” to Sanctuary Wealth
Indianapolis-based RIA network Sanctuary Wealth announced that an advisory team with $170 million in client assets has joined as a partner firm from The Edwards Group at Morgan Stanley.
Based in Dublin, Ohio, Iterhic (Latin for “journey to here”) Wealth Advisors is the third wirehouse breakaway from Ohio to join Sanctuary this year. Iterhic’s staff, including its founder and former professional basketball player, Matt Terwilliger, will join Sanctuary.
Iterhic serves clients between their mid-30s and mid-50s and focuses on planning strategies for first-generation business owners, executives with significant equity and deferred compensation as well as professional athletes.
“Matt is exactly the type of next generation advisor our industry needs,” said Vince Fertitta, President, Wealth Management, Sanctuary Wealth. “Having built an impressive business at a major wirehouse, he is ready to make the move to partnered independence with Sanctuary.”
The addition of Iterhic follows news that Sanctuary founder and former CEO Jim Dickson, a former Merrill Lynch divisional manager who launched Sanctuary in 2018, was released by the company’s board of directors and was replaced by Malamed in February.
