First Republic Nabs Four-Person Advisory Team from Morgan Stanely
Private bank and wealth management company First Republic Bank has picked up a four-person veteran team of financial advisors from Morgan Stanley.
The team, led by Eric Yamin and Keith Caparelli, joins the San Francisco-based First Republic as managing directors, serving individuals, families, nonprofits and private family foundations in Florida and New York.
Yamin and Caparelli were with Morgan Stanley for three years and moved at the beginning of the year along with two staffers, Brendan Ramusevic and Tammy Cisneros.
The group was one of about 300 teams in Morgan Stanley’s private wealth unit for ultra-wealthy customers with at least $20mn of investable assets. The unit managed more than $619bn in assets as of June 2022, according to the Morgan Stanley website.
With more than 35 years of wealth management experience, Yamin provides family office services and investment strategies for high-net-worth individuals.
Yamin became a broker in 1994 with Oppenheimer & Co., first joined Morgan Stanley in 1997, left for UBS in 2008 and returned to Morgan Stanley in 2019.
Caparelli has more than 10 years of wealth management experience. Before joining First Republic, Caparelli was vice president and director of business strategy at Morgan Stanley.
