Ex-UBS Duo with $6B AUM Launches RIA 71 West Capital Partners
A pair of advisors have left UBS Financial Services, where they collectively managed $6 billion in assets under management, to launch a new registered investment advisor.
Los Angeles and Boston-based managing directors Denis Cleary and Greg Devine have launched 71 West Capital Partners, which provides “customized” private wealth management to ultra-high net worth entrepreneurs, business owners, C-suite executives, families, and philanthropic organizations.
Cleary will serve as 71 West Capital Partners’ CEO and operate from the firm’s Boston office, and Devine will be based at the firm’s Los Angeles office.
71 West also includes Abigail Harris, Matthew Kirshner, Chris Carbone, William Corman, Spencer Danziger, and Nolan Morr.
71 West has chosen BNY Pershing as its custodian, the firm said.
At UBS, Cleary and Devine worked at the firm together for five years. Prior to UBS, the duo worked together at Goldman Sachs.
