Elevation Point Takes Minority Stake in $750M Stonebrook Private
Elevation Point has taken a minority stake in Stonebrook Private, a Northville, MI-based registered investment advisor with more than $750 million in assets under management, marking its first strategic investment since inception last June.
Led by father/son duo Todd Knickerbocker and Spencer Knickerbocker, Stonebrook Private is a fee-only, fiduciary firm with a 10-person team focusing on wealth, tax, and estate planning services.

Elevation Point, launched in 2024 by former Sanctuary Wealth CEO Jim Dickson Mark Penske, founder and chairman of United Atlantic Capital, oversees more than $3.4 billion in assets under management.
The firm has rapidly expanded its leadership team with key hires in recent months, including Brad Smithy as founding partner and head of wealth management, Robert B. Tamarkin as founding partner and head of business development, Caitlin Douglas as founding partner and COO, Jenna Bloomgarden as head of marketing and advisor experience, and Brian R.
