EIV Capital Raises $1.1B Across Energy Infrastructure, Upstream Funds
EIV Capital, LLC has closed two energy-focused funds with approximately $1.1 billion in total commitments, underscoring continued investor appetite for both infrastructure and upstream strategies.
EIV Capital Fund V, LP will focus on value-add investments in energy infrastructure, including the gathering, processing, transportation, storage and marketing of oil, natural gas and refined products. The fund is led by Managing Partners David Finan and Patti Melcher.
“Fund V focuses on value-add initiatives for our midstream customers while addressing a growing need for last-mile solutions for natural gas and power as reindustrialization and data center requirements continue to accelerate,” said David Finan, Managing Partner at EIV Capital.
The firm also closed EIV Resources II, LP, a non-operated upstream strategy targeting working interests in U.S. oil and gas wells. Led by Partner Claire Harvey, the fund builds on EIV’s established upstream investment platform.
“Resources II is a continuation of our strategy of acquiring high quality oil and gas assets across the Lower 48. We invest behind proven operators in both producing and undeveloped oil and gas assets,” Harvey said.
Both vehicles attracted commitments from a broad institutional base, including pension funds, insurance companies, endowments, foundations, family offices and asset managers.
