Edward Jones Enhances HNW Services with Alts, Financial Planning
Edward Jones is launching alternative investments for eligible clients in its Edward Jones Generations service, introduced in March, targeting U.S. high-net-worth investors with $10 million or more in investable assets.
Edward Jones Generations clients can now access private market investments, including private equity, private credit, and private real estate, through the Edward Jones Advisory Solutions Unified Managed Account (UMA) program. Initially exclusive to Generations clients, the firm plans to broaden the alternative investment options and client eligibility in the future.
“Edward Jones is committed to helping our clients achieve their financial goals, and we are always looking to expand our products, solutions and experiences designed to help make these goals a reality,” said Russ Tipper, principal and head of products at Edward Jones. “We believe alternative investments represent an opportunity for our high-net-worth clients to diversify their portfolios.”
Edward Jones has partnered with CAIS, an alternative investment platform, to provide a streamlined, tech-enabled experience for financial advisors.
Financial advisors for Generations clients will gain access to CAIS’s educational tools, including the CAIS IQ on-demand learning platform and CAIS Live in-person events, to enhance their expertise in alternative investments.
Edward Jones Generations will also offer advanced financial planning tailored to high-net-worth clients’ complex needs. This includes a dedicated team of strategists for planning, estate, tax, and other considerations, covering advanced areas like cash flow analysis, complex tax and estate planning, business owner planning, and philanthropy.
