Concurrent Asset Management Takes Minority Stake in Catherine Avery Investment Management
Concurrent Asset Management (CAM), the asset management arm of Concurrent Investment Advisors, LLC, has entered into a strategic partnership with Catherine Avery Investment Management, LLC (CAIM), a Longboat Key, FL-based boutique asset manager. As part of the agreement, CAM acquired a minority equity stake in CAIM, representing its first direct investment in a standalone asset manager.
Founded by Catherine Avery, who also serves as CIO, CAIM specializes in U.S. large-cap equity strategies, emphasizing long-term fundamentals and disciplined, risk-aware portfolio construction anchored by dividend-paying equities.
“In CAM, we’ve found a partner who shares our long-term vision and integrity,” Avery said. “This relationship enables us to grow thoughtfully by leveraging institutional-quality infrastructure, technology, and a robust distribution network, while preserving our independence.”
CAM provides capital and strategic support to advisory firms and asset managers across the wealth management ecosystem. Its selective minority investment approach aims to foster growth, succession planning, and sustainable business models.
“CAIM represents the kind of partner we look for—independent, proven, and deeply aligned with client outcomes,” said Eddy Augsten, President of CAM.
CAIM will continue to operate independently, retaining full investment discretion and operational autonomy.
