Coller Capital Closes Record $17B for Flagship Secondaries Platform

Coller Capital has held the final close of Coller International Partners IX (CIP IX), its largest fund to date, bringing total capital raised for its global private equity secondaries platform to $17 billion across commingled funds, co-investment vehicles, separately managed accounts, and equity perpetual funds.

Already over 70% deployed, CIP IX targets both LP-led and GP-led secondary transactions, with an emphasis on high-quality, diversified portfolios sourced across strategies, vintages, and geographies. The fund attracted around 250 institutional investors worldwide, including leading pension funds, insurers, sovereign wealth funds, asset managers, and other financial institutions, reflecting growing mainstream adoption of secondaries within institutional portfolios.

“Secondaries are no longer seen as a tactical portfolio rebalancing tool but a core component of diversified portfolios,” said Jeremy Coller, CIO and Managing Partner of Coller Capital. “We are entering secondaries’ finest hour and I’m delighted our investors trust us as the most experienced secondaries investor with more than 35 years of experience in the market.”

With the close of CIP IX, Coller Capital’s assets under management now stand at approximately $50 billion, further cementing the firm’s position as one of the largest dedicated players in the global secondaries market.
