Christian & Timbers Sees 27% Increase in AI Data Center Talent Demand
Christian & Timbers, a San Francisco-based global search firm with a particular focus on artificial intelligence (AI) and generative AI data centers, conducted a study that predicts a 27% increase in data center leadership demand for 2024 amid the “massive” global buildup of AI data centers.
The firm identified 10 of the most in demand leadership positions in data center, including chief engineer officer, head of data center security, head of data center operations, SVP, global technical sales, data center network architect, data center facilities manager, VP, technical operations, data center sustainability officer, senior director, technology innovation, and head of IT disaster recovery and business continuity.
“The advent of generative AI is pushing the boundaries of available talent within the data center market. Data center companies are increasingly looking outside their competitors to telecommunication services and other infrastructure sectors for talent,” said Jeff Christian, CEO.
