Cetera Financial Lures $420M FA Team from Commonwealth
Cetera Financial Group has scooped up an advisory practice with $420 million in assets under administration, as the firm continues to strongly recruit from Commonwealth Financial Network.
Durham, NC-based Tucker Bria Wealth Strategies, which was established in 2013 is led by advisors Jim Tucker and Patrick Bria, has joined Cetera through its Summit Financial Networks office of supervisory jurisdiction.
The team offers wealth management services, including financial planning to high-net-worth clients. Tucker Bria Wealth Strategies also includes wealth advisor Josh Polidori and financial planning associates Chris Bleeker and Taylor Clement.
“We tell our team to love our clients, not because of what they’ve entrusted to us, but because that’s simply the standard we hold ourselves to,” Bria said. “Our next-gen advisors are in the room with clients from day one, learning the relationships, not just the technical side of the job.”
Tucker Bria Wealth Strategies also stated that they decided to transition to Cetera after over a decade at Commonwealth because of its “culture of experienced advisors and personalized support,” Bria added.
Additionally, the team will be able to continue utilizing Fidelity Investments’ national financial services platform at Cetera.
Last month, Cetera also added Harleysville, PA-based Tupelo Wealth Partners, which oversees about $490 million in assets under administration, from Commonwealth
Since LPL acquired Commonwealth, Cetera has nabbed more than 30 Commonwealth advisors representing over $2.6 billion in combined total assets, according to public registration records.
Cetera Financial Group manages $630 billion in assets under administration and $296 billion in assets under management, as of March 31, the firm said.
