Cerity Partners Expands Texas Footprint with Austin Private Wealth Merger
Cerity Partners has announced a merger with Texas-based independent wealth manager Austin Private Wealth, further expanding its presence in the Austin market and strengthening its ability to deliver comprehensive wealth planning and investment management solutions to high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners. Austin Private Wealth will operate under the Cerity Partners name following the transaction.
Austin Private Wealth serves a broad client base with integrated services across retirement planning, tax-aware strategies, wealth transfer planning, and investment due diligence, aligning closely with Cerity Partners’ holistic advisory model. The combination is designed to enhance the client experience by pairing Austin Private Wealth’s local relationships with Cerity Partners’ national scale and resources.
“This partnership brings together two firms with a shared culture of client-first advice and long-term thinking,” said Claire O’Keefe, Partner & Head of Partner Development at Cerity Partners. “By welcoming Austin Private Wealth to Cerity Partners, we are expanding our presence in a key growth market for the firm.”
“Cerity Partners shares our commitment to high-quality planning and long-term client relationships,” added Raoul Célèrier, Co-Managing Partner at Austin Private Wealth. “This partnership provides our clients with access to broader resources and deeper expertise, positioning us well for the next chapter of growth.”
Advisors and clients of Austin Private Wealth will retain their existing planning relationships while gaining access to Cerity Partners’ broader, fully integrated wealth management platform, including expanded investment solutions and specialized planning capabilities.
The deal follows a period of active strategic expansion for Cerity Partners. In December, the firm entered into an agreement with Nasdaq Private Market to serve as the sole wealth partner to its high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients, and in September, the $144 billion registered investment advisor announced a merger with Albany, NY–based Graypoint to bolster its Workplace Solutions offering.
