Carson Group Fully Acquires $218M Carson Wealth Office in Georgia
Carson Group has fully acquired a Georgia-based Carson Wealth office that oversees more than $218 million in advisory and brokerage assets.
The Milton, GA-based office is led by managing partner and wealth advisor G.C. Lewis and has an office in Atlanta. The Milton team transitioned into a Carson Wealth office in 2023, Carson said.
The team provides “comprehensive” financial planning, retirement planning, tax strategy, and wealth management-related services.
As part of the transition, the Carson Wealth location in Atlanta and Dunwoody will be integrated into the Carson Wealth Milton location, expanding on Carson’s footprint in Georgia.
Willner’s team marks Carson Group’s 36th wholly owned Carson Wealth office and plans to leverage Carson’s resources, including infrastructure and operational support and capital, to boost its growth strategy.
Lewis views the acquisition as a “growth catalyst” and a “personal calling.” He also added that the transition will allow his team to put their clients in a “place where they can be fully seen and more confident that their money is growing with a team they can trust.”
“I’ve partnered with Carson for years and have always admired their commitment to helping advisors grow while serving clients at the highest level,” Lewis said. “This acquisition strengthens that partnership and gives us the resources to grow both organically and through strategic acquisitions.”
Recently, Carson Group fully acquired Illinois-based Schlipman Wealth Advisors, which oversees more than $500 million in assets under management.
Omaha, NE-based Carson Group, founded in 1983, oversees more than $55 billion in assets for more than 54,000 families, the firm said.
