
Cambridge Trust Promotes Insider to CIO
Ryan Hanna has been promoted to CIO of Cambridge Trust Wealth Management, now a division of Eastern Bank. He has spent his entire career with the independent investment advisor, bringing more than 25 years of experience in equity markets. He most recently served as deputy CIO & director of equities.
Throughout his tenure since joining Cambridge Trust in 1994, Hanna has served in a client facing capacity with individuals, trusts, foundations and non-profit organizations building globally diversified portfolios across different asset classes.
As deputy CIO, Hanna was responsible for guiding portfolio management efforts and setting the strategic direction for the investment team with an emphasis on asset allocation and portfolio construction.
As the director of equities, he was responsible for stock selection, risk management and oversight of the investment team. Hanna has served as the co-portfolio manager of the flagship Core Equity Strategy and the Equity Income Strategy.

Boston-based Cambridge Trust Wealth Management had $8.4 billion in assets under management and administration as of the middle of July.
