CAIS Launches AI-Powered Assistant to Transform Advisor Access to Alts
CAIS has launched CAISey, an AI-powered assistant designed to fundamentally enhance how financial advisors discover, analyze, and engage with alternative investments. Integrated directly into the CAIS platform, CAISey leverages advanced natural language processing and proprietary data intelligence to help advisors instantly search, evaluate, and compare private market strategies in a conversational, intuitive format.
CAISey enables advisors to interact naturally with the platform—asking questions such as “What are the liquidity terms for these private credit funds?” or “Which real estate funds align with these investment objectives?”—and receive immediate, data-rich answers drawn from a centralized repository of fund intelligence. By aggregating and organizing information from hundreds of thousands of fund documents, the tool provides advisors with a single, comprehensive access point to analyze investment options and streamline due diligence.
The assistant also integrates with CAIS IQ, the firm’s learning and education platform, to connect fund-level data with interactive training and insights, allowing advisors to learn and apply knowledge seamlessly within one digital ecosystem. This integration is designed to reduce time spent on research and documentation while enhancing the quality and precision of advisor decision-making.
“CAISey represents a major step forward in our mission to transform access to alternative investments through technology,” said Kan Kotecha, Chief Technology Officer at CAIS. “By simplifying product discovery and streamlining complex workflows, CAISey delivers a faster, smarter experience that empowers advisors to serve their clients with confidence.”
CAIS currently supports over 2,000 wealth management firms and 62,000 financial advisors overseeing approximately $7 trillion in client assets. Founded in 2009 and headquartered in New York City, the company maintains offices in Austin, London, and Red Bank, New Jersey.
