Bridge Investment Group Closes $2.15B Real Estate Debt Fund
Bridge Investment Group Holdings LLC, an affiliate of Apollo, announced the final close of Bridge Debt Strategies Fund V LP (BDS V), securing $2.15 billion in equity commitments. The fund continues Bridge’s long-standing strategy of investing across the commercial real estate credit spectrum, including first-mortgage direct lending, commercial real estate collateralized loan obligations (CRE CLOs), and subordinate tranches of Freddie Mac K-Series securities, as well as selective investments in CMBS and other CRE-backed debt instruments.
“We believe our heavy focus on recession-resistant multifamily collateral and floating-rate debt positions the fund well in the current market,” said James Chung, Chief Investment Officer for the Bridge Debt Strategies platform.
Robert Morse, Executive Chair of Bridge Investment Group, added, “BDS V’s focus on the residential rental market in the U.S. leverages our specialized expertise and a disciplined, targeted investment thesis to create compelling exposure to one of the most durable and high-performing asset classes in today’s real estate landscape.”
