Bob Doll Named Crossmark CEO, President

Crossmark Global Investments Inc. has appointed Bob Doll as CEO and president, in addition to his current CIO post, as Mike Kern steps down from the top positions effective immediately.

Doll, who has over four decades of experience in the asset management industry and is well-known for his annual 10 market predictions, has been CIO since June 2021, in addition to directing the firm’s US large-cap equities strategies. Kern has served as CEO and president since 2015 and is stepping down to “pursue other opportunities.”

Prior to joining Crossmark, he was chief equity strategist and senior portfolio manager at Nuveen Asset Management, a TIAA-owned firm. His previous positions included chief equity strategist at BlackRock, president and CIO of Merrill Lynch Investment Managers, and CIO of Oppenheimer Funds, Inc.

“It is a privilege to be part of Crossmark, a firm that combines a deep commitment to faith-based values and a focus on investment excellence. In my new role, I look forward to continuing to enhance the firm’s investment solutions and to leading a team that is notable for its talent, unique culture, and passion for delivering exceptional client service,” Doll said.

Crossmark Global Investments had $6.2 billion in assets as of December 31, 2023, spread across equity, fixed income, liquid alternative, and derivative income asset classes.
