Bluerock Taps Former Inland Exec Keith Lampi to Lead New Tax Solutions Unit
Bluerock has named Keith Lampi CEO of Bluerock Tax Solutions, a new division that will expand the firm’s lineup of tax-advantaged real estate strategies for financial advisors and their clients. Lampi will oversee the growth of the platform, including qualified opportunity zone investments and 721 exchange programs. He will be based in Chicago.
Bluerock founder and CEO Ramin Kamfar said the firm was one of the first sponsors to bring Delaware statutory trusts to the wealth channel.
“With Keith leading Bluerock Tax Solutions, we are building on that pioneering foundation to give advisors a broader, deeper set of tax-advantaged strategies for their clients,” Kamfar said.
Lampi brings more than 20 years of experience in tax-advantaged real estate and private securities. He most recently served as chairman and CEO of Inland Private Capital Corp., where he oversaw the firm’s broader investment management business. He also served as chairman and CEO of IPC Alternative Real Estate Income Trust, Inland’s most recent public, non-traded real estate investment trust.
Under his leadership, Inland broadened its product lineup and grew its tax solutions platform to more than $13 billion in assets under management.
Lampi said advisors are helping clients with increasingly complex tax decisions and want partners with depth.
“I joined Bluerock to build on that and broaden what we offer – tax solutions designed for advisors and their clients, based upon their unique needs,” he said.
