Blue Owl Capital Closes $850M Private Wealth Credit Fund
Alternative asset manager Blue Owl Capital Inc. has announced the final close of a private offering of an alternative credit fund, raising $850 million in capital commitments. The fund, which attracted a diverse base of high-net-worth and private wealth clients globally, will focus on asset-based finance strategies—investments backed by financial or hard asset collateral.
This latest close reflects Blue Owl’s growing influence in the private wealth channel, particularly across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC regions. “Over the past few years, we have seen tremendous growth in our private wealth business, driven by deepening relationships with advisors and expanding access to our credit strategies across the Americas, EMEA and APAC,” said Madeleine Sinclair, Head of Private Wealth, Americas at Blue Owl
The fund is part of Blue Owl’s broader platform, which spans credit, real assets, and GP strategic capital. As of March 31, 2025, the firm managed more than $273 billion in assets.
In May, the NY-based firm announced the final close of its latest digital infrastructure fund, Blue Owl Digital Infrastructure Fund III (ODI III), securing $7 billion in total capital commitments.
