Blackstone, M&T Realty Capital Partner on Multifamily Lending

Blackstone Mortgage Trust, Inc. (BXMT) and M&T Realty Capital Corporation have partnered to provide BXMT borrowers with multifamily agency financing for conventional and affordable multifamily loans via M&T Realty Capital’s Fannie Mae DUS and Freddie Mac Optigo lending platforms.

BXMT specializes in multifamily lending and offers floating rate, first mortgage financing. The firms stated that the collaboration will broaden the company’s access to agency loan product offerings through M&T Realty Capital, giving BXMT’s borrowers access to transitional and permanent multifamily financing solutions.
