Bitwise Crypto Models Added to Vise Advisor Platform

Bitwise Asset Management has brought its crypto model portfolios to Vise Technologies, Inc., making them available to wealth firms using a platform that serves more than 135,000 accounts and has over $140 billion in platform assets.

The rollout gives advisors a way to include crypto exposure within a client’s broader portfolio of stocks, bonds and alternatives. Vise said the allocations can be sized to a household’s goals and risk profile, then monitored and rebalanced alongside its other investments. The platform’s account-level tax management also applies to the portfolios, according to the companies.

“Crypto only works in a portfolio if it’s treated like a real allocation—sized to the client’s risk, monitored, and brought back to target when it drifts,” said Runik Mehrotra, Vise’s co-founder and co-head.

Bitwise selects crypto-themed exchange-traded products for models designed around different risk preferences. Its core models seek broad exposure to the crypto market, while thematic portfolios can emphasize approaches such as risk management or exposure beyond bitcoin. Bitwise has more than $9 billion in client assets, according to the announcement.

The partnership extends a model portfolio offering Bitwise launched earlier this year. Advisor use of third-party models has grown rapidly: Morningstar reported $934 billion in third-party model portfolio assets at the end of March 2026, up 46% from a year earlier. Morningstar also identified Bitwise among the digital asset firms that introduced models in 2026.
