Battery Global Advisors Closes $208.5M Digital Infrastructure Fund
Battery Global Advisors has closed its inaugural Digital Infrastructure Fund with $208.5 million in commitments, exceeding its $150 million target.
The fund invests at the corporate layer of the digital infrastructure value chain, backing data center and related platforms rather than financing only individual facilities. It targets businesses with contracted revenue, secured power access and established assets.
Institutions, technology entrepreneurs and venture capital and private equity executives supported the fund. BGA has committed about 40% of its capital—or approximately $83 million—to five portfolio companies. Several additional investments are in late-stage diligence.
“We built DIF with the flexibility to pursue our highest-conviction opportunities wherever they sit in the digital infrastructure ecosystem,” Chief Investment Officer Brandon Colón said in the firm’s announcement.
Colón said the mandate allows BGA to underwrite investments that fall outside traditional institutional categories and provide flexible financing to management teams and developers confronting increasingly complex capital needs.
BGA has committed more than $900 million to digital infrastructure through the fund and associated co-investment vehicles since 2024.
PJT Park Hill served as placement agent for the fund and other BGA digital infrastructure engagements.
Boston-based BGA manages more than $7.6 billion in assets. The firm provides investment management and family-office services, primarily for institutions, technology entrepreneurs and private equity and venture capital executives.
