AssetMark Launches Consulting Platform

AssetMark has launched AssetMark Growth Consulting (AGC), a new consulting service designed to help independent advisors accelerate organic growth and enhance long-term practice value through a structured, execution-focused framework.

The program begins with a growth readiness assessment and combines prioritization, hands-on consulting, and defined milestones with ongoing accountability. The goal, AssetMark said, is to help advisors move from strategy to execution in an increasingly competitive wealth management landscape.

“Organic growth is the lifeblood of every advisory firm – it’s what signals a healthy business and drives long-term value,” said Michael Kim, CEO of AssetMark. “AGC gives advisors the structure and accountability they need to achieve that growth in today’s competitive environment. We help them translate ambition into sustained, measurable results in service of their clients.”

AGC is designed to address one of the industry’s most persistent challenges: execution. Advisors participating in AGC engagements are expected to grow 18%–20% above their historical trendline, supported by one-on-one consulting, defined growth priorities, structured implementation sessions, guided lead generation tactics, and ongoing progress reviews.

“What we consistently hear from advisors is that growth isn’t about a lack of ideas or effort – it’s about having the structure, focus, and accountability to execute,” said Dana Burkhardt, VP of business consulting at AssetMark. “AGC was built to close that gap by helping advisors prioritize what matters most and stay committed to progress over time.”

The launch of AGC builds on AssetMark’s broader advisor-support strategy, which includes programs such as First Year Success for onboarding new advisors, the Business Builder Webinar Series focused on operational improvement, and Ascent, a leadership development and succession planning initiative.
