Arete Wealth Partners with Orion to Enhance Advisor Technology Platform
Arete Wealth, a broker-dealer and registered investment advisory firm, has entered into a new agreement with Orion, a wealthtech solutions provider, to bolster its open-architecture advisory platform. The partnership integrates Orion’s technology suite, empowering Arete Wealth’s Corporate RIA and affiliated independent RIAs with advanced tools.
Orion’s platform offers portfolio management, reporting, trading, compliance, and client engagement solutions, enabling financial professionals to streamline operations, enhance client experiences, and scale their practices efficiently.

The agreement aligns with Arete Wealth’s robust growth, having nearly doubled its advisory assets under management since 2022. Orion, as of March 31, 2025, supports $4.7 trillion in assets under administration, $98.6 billion in wealth management platform assets, and over 7.3 million technology accounts, serving thousands of independent advisory firms.
This follows Arete Wealth’s April 2025 partnership with Envestnet, further strengthening its Chicago-based advisory platform.
