Alternative Asset Manager EnTrust Global Appoints Sophia Mullen to President
EnTrust Global, an alternative asset management firm with a strong footprint in real assets and private debt, appointed Sophia Mullen as President, the first role of its kind at the company.
The firm, which manages about $17.8bn in assets, said the former senior managing director will continue to lead the $8bn opportunistic co-investment strategy and remain on the Management and Global Investment Committees.
Mullen will focus on expanding the company’s global presence, and pursuing other opportunities for the firm’s increasingly diverse institutional investor base.
In the four years Mullen has led the co-investment team, the firm has deployed over $4.4 billion, including almost $1 billion in 2020 alone, across 43 investment opportunities.
Mullen will report to Gregg S. Hymowitz, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of EnTrust Global.
“I am honored that Gregg has the confidence in me to play a key role in representing the firm and strengthening its position as a global leader in alternative asset management,” said Mullen.
“I also hope this new role for me will encourage young women and reinforce the opportunities for them to achieve leadership roles in our industry.”
