Allvue Systems Launches GP Accounting to Streamline Private Capital Operations

Allvue Systems has launched GP Accounting, an integrated platform designed to help private capital firms manage general partner entity economics, including partner capital, carried interest, incentive compensation and GP-level financial reporting.

The product connects Allvue’s Fund Accounting system with FirmView, its carry and compensation platform, in a synchronized two-way workflow. Changes to investor allocations or ownership structures update across both systems, aiming to reduce manual reconciliation and provide a unified view of fund and GP entity data.

Allvue acquired PFA Solutions, creator of FirmView, in December 2024. The acquisition established the foundation for linking fund accounting with the management-company functions that often have been handled separately through spreadsheets or general accounting software.

“Private markets have invested heavily in institutionalizing fund accounting, but their own internal economics have remained fragmented,” Ivan Latanision, Allvue’s chief product officer, said. “GP Accounting changes that.”

The platform includes GP capital account tracking, GP financial statements, carried-interest allocation workflows, incentive compensation modeling and support for complex tax allocations.

Richard Change, head of FirmView, said GP economics have traditionally operated in parallel systems disconnected from fund operations. Connecting FirmView with Fund Accounting creates a financial architecture that can reflect changing ownership and compensation arrangements, he said.

Allvue’s 2026 Compensation & Carry Management Survey found that 58% of respondents still administer carry in Excel, while 49% identified increased carry participation as their greatest challenge.
