Allocate, VanEck Partner to Expand Private Markets Access for Wealth Channel

Allocate has partnered with VanEck to expand access to private market strategies for financial advisors, registered investment advisers and their clients, the companies said.

VanEck will use Allocate’s technology and operational infrastructure to bring its institutional private markets capabilities to the wealth channel. The platform will support investor onboarding, subscription processing, compliance, capital calls, reporting and ongoing servicing.

The firms said the partnership allows VanEck to introduce wealth-focused private market offerings within weeks, compared with the months often required under traditional launch models. VanEck will retain control of its investment strategies, products, brand and investor relationships.

“Private markets represent one of the most significant opportunities for investors, but they demand a different approach than traditional institutional distribution,” VanEck CEO Jan van Eck said. “Allocate’s technology enabled us to bring our first wealth-focused private markets offering within a matter of weeks.”

Van Eck added that Allocate’s ability to integrate with the asset manager’s largest advisory firm clients was essential to the partnership.

Allocate connects asset managers with a network of more than 375 wealth advisory firms and RIAs and supports more than $5 billion in assets on its platform. The company said its infrastructure helps managers avoid fragmented workflows and operational burdens that can delay their entry into the wealth market.

“The challenge isn’t generating demand — it’s providing the infrastructure that lets managers move with speed while maintaining the operational rigor private markets require,” Allocate CEO and co-founder Samir Kaji said.

The agreement begins a broader strategic relationship. VanEck and Allocate said they expect to explore additional opportunities to make private market investments available through wealth management firms.
