AE Wealth Management Launches Securities-Based Lending Solution
AE Wealth Management has launched its securities-based lending solution across its platform for advisors to tackle growing liquidity concerns from their clients.
The securities-based lending solution allows clients to borrow against eligible investment assets, including stocks, bonds, ETFs, and mutual funds, with no fees or prepayment penalties and the flexibility to draw or repay funds depending on their changing needs, AE Wealth said.
The RIA says the new offering is currently available to clients, trusts, and organizations and aims to address the short-term cash flow demands around various business-focused situations, including business investments, real estate purchases, and education funding.
“Our securities-based lending provides advisors with another flexible and personalized planning resource to deliver liquidity without disrupting their long-term investment strategies,” said Shannon Larson, president of AE Wealth.
Larson joined AE Wealth in February, succeeding Chris Radford, who stepped away from the position last summer. Prior to joining AE Wealth, Larson held multiple senior roles at Osaic Wealth.
AE Wealth’s offering comes as other RIAs and wealth management firms are making various solutions available to advisors and their tailored client base, as their needs continue to evolve amid ongoing market volatility.
AE Wealth is an affiliate of Advisors Excel, an independent marketing company, which was founded in 2005.
In November, AE Wealth launched its private markets platform, dubbed AE Private Exchange, which is backed by CAIS and is targeted towards financial advisors within AE Wealth’s network, which provides tech-backed solutions and access to a “curated” list of private market providers.
AE Wealth, launched in 2016 by David Callanan, Cody Foster, and David Bach, offers model portfolio services, financial planning, asset management, and retirement planning, according to its Form ADV Part 2 Brochure.
Topeka, KS-based AE Wealth Management oversees about $50 billion for 282,995 accounts, according to its latest Form ADV, updated in June.
